Yuma
is currently working on recording a new CD with Doug Ellington,
grandson of Duke Ellington. The recording sessions started in
September of 2003. We will keep everyone posted on its status.
Los
Altos pianist Yuma Sung will share top billing Aug. 22 (2003) at Villa
Montalvo with Dave Brubeck and David Benoit, who have a tad more
experience. But I've been watching Yuma since he was 11 -- two years
ago -- and he's accumulating jazz chops faster than most.
